Alphamach.gr considers data privacy as a fundamental component of doing business. Our privacy policy and practices focus on processing, sharing and storing personal information appropriately and lawfully while granting privacy, integrity and availability.

This privacy policy applies to the core functional area of Alphamach.gr that operates legally in Greece.

Alphamach.gr processes and stores personal data within the EU.

This privacy statement represents the online privacy policy applicable to the online activities of Alphamach.gr. The statement explains the type of information we collect from customers online and how we use this information.

Our website is governed in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (the “GDPR”), (Regulation (EU) 2016/679), which is a directly binding piece of legislation. The GDPR creates some new rights for individuals and enhances some of the rights that have recently existed under Directive 95/46/EC. Directive 95/46/EC will be repealed with effect from 25 May, 2018. This policy was made compliant with the GDPR and is therefore also compliant with Directive 95/46/EC and its national implementations until they are superseded on May 25, 2018.

The privacy policy is under the responsibility of the Alphamach.gr team, which has the responsibility of certifying compliance. The IT Manager is responsible for the implementation of our data protection policy, which is inherently linked to the privacy policy. The IT Manager monitors compliance and is involved in all relevant data protection issues.

Alphamach.gr should be considered as the data protection controller and will determine the purposes and means of processing personal data submitted and collected online.

Principles

The data protection policy of Alphamach.gr is based on the following data protection principles:

    The processing of personal data takes place in a lawful, fair and transparent manner;

    The collection of personal data will only be carried out for specified, explicit and legitimate purposes and further will not be processed in a way that is incompatible with those purposes;

    Will the collection of personal data be adequate, relevant and limited to what is necessary in relation to the purpose for which they are processed?

E-mails/Newsletters/Marketing Campaigns

Alphamach.gr is allowed, with consent, to send visitors or customers e-mails/newsletters/marketing campaigns. This form of consent must be freely given, up-to-date and clear. These requirements are fulfilled when visitors or customers have opted in to receive e-mails/newsletters/marketing campaigns (active consent).

Visitors or customers will always have the right to object, upon request and free of charge, to the processing of personal data relating to them for the purposes of direct marketing activities without having to provide specific justification. Once a visitor/customer has unsubscribed, the personal data of that visitor/customer will no longer be processed for direct marketing.

Alphamach.gr is responsible and must be able to demonstrate at any given time, compliance with the GDPR as well as with our principles set out here. Alphamach.gr will maintain records of processed activities under its responsibility containing the information required by the GDPR and where applicable and will make the records available to supervisors on request.

Complaints
